Treasure Hunt

 

Despite the sunny sky, the clouds hung oppressively low, and a cold breeze swept through the air. The birds were chirping cheerfully, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of flowers, adding a touch of freshness to the atmosphere. Jack, as usual, went enthusiastically to the office but he didn’t know that an insult was waiting for him. When he arrived, his boss burst on him for not completing the task on time. He was greatly upset and, in the evening, he went to a park and sat there in solitude, lost in his thoughts.

 While jack sat there he suddenly saw a flickering light behind the bushes. jack approached the bushes and to his astonishment he found an unusual box covered with dust. He opened the box and found a map of treasure hunt, that said, an adventurous hunt. Jack dedided to embark on this adventurous journey and without wasting a second, he sent the resignation to his boss. The next day he packed all the essentials for the journey and left to solve the unsolved mystery. As he followed the map, it took him from a bustling city to an unknown, abandoned place. Upon exploring the area, he came across a mysterious mansion nestled amidst the landscape. Upon investigating more, he found a plate that said “Only the deserving may claim the treasure”.

 Without any hesitation jack opened the door and went inside. It was a scary mansion with broken windows, cobwebs on the walls, and a flickering candle in the middle of the hall casting a golden glow on the wooden floor. Jack went inside one of the rooms and  he was stunned to see a large dump of treasure in front of him. he tried to grab one, but out of nowhere the ground began to tremble, and the debris started to fall. As jack turned to run out, he realized that the opening had vanished, and he was trapped inside. The earth started to shake more frequently and he had no choice but to make his last wish. But suddenly he saw a bright white light coming from a distance. He started to run to chase the light and with all his spirit, he managed to escape the collapsing chamber. When jack came back to his senses he realized that he was standing right in front of the bushes from where he found the treasure box. 

If jack was standing there, then what was all that he experienced? Was it just his imagination, or it was some kind of sign for him? or did he just came stuck in a time travel paradox? The mystery is yet to be solved, but jack is now living a wonderful life with his wife and beloved son; jace who might solve this mystery in future.
